Question about gameboy advance sp??!?

Question: My 7 and 8 yr old girls want one for christmas this yr. i am not sure what to buy ,do all the gameboy games play in each of the other type gameboy systems? what is the better type the sp or is there another. let me know i am watching some on ebay so i wanna make sure i buy the right thing with the right games and all. thanks for the help. also what about Nintendo Game Boy Color being gameboy whats the difference between this type also.

Answer: well the gameboy sp has some good stuff. its compatible with all the gameboy games. the gameboy sp also has backround light which is very handy, but if you use it then your battery will start going down quicker i also think it is a very compact design and i love it. the gameboy advance dosen't have a light but i like the buttons, they are easier to press than the sp. oh and the battery is that the sp has a charging battery, while the gameboy advance is a double a battery. which probably means that the gameboy advance would probably last longer. hope this helps
